The electromagnetic spectrum, or light, is important to forensic science.  Many different areas of the spectrum are used for various purposes, not just visible light that allows us to see. The below image shows the different areas of the electromagnetic spectrum from short, high energy gamma rays to long, low energy radio waves. Select one of the areas of the electromagnetic spectrum shown on the image (i.e. visible, infrared, etc.) and explain how forensic science uses that type of light, giving an example.
