Review the Project 1: Writing Plan Submission Guidelines and Rubric PDF
document and submit your Project 1: Writing Plan Submission
Overall Feedback
Hi Senita,
Thank you for making your progress check submission for Week Two.
Overall, you will need to review the submission as there are some thing that do not belong in it, and it lacks an analysis of the secondary sources you plan to use for the research paper.
Over the next two weeks, your goal should be to use your research, correct and expand on what you did in this assignment, and develop a solid Writing Plan to assist you with the crafting of your research paper. Please take a moment to review the feedback for each critical element of the rubric and use that feedback to improve your next submission and set yourself up to write an effective research paper.
After reviewing the feedback in the rubric, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
Overall Feedback
Hi Senita,
Thank you for making your first progress check submission; I appreciate the time and effort you put into developing your submission.
Overall, you are off to a good start; however, your description needs to be condensed and articulated in a clear and concise fashion.
Also, you need to avoid any review of conspiracy theories and focus only on the historical event itself.
Also,
you will want to expand your research question so that it is more complex so that it allows you to gain a deeper understanding of the event.
You may want to consider reading the article, Writing a Good Research Question, created by the Center for Innovation in Research and Teaching. It contains many valuable tips to make your research question as useful as possible.
Do not forget that the Online Writing Center is available to help you articulate and proofread your submissions.
If you are going to use the Center, you may want to contact them early in the week and schedule an appointment as they are typically busy at the end of the week.
Please review the feedback in the rubric.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
